waiting

I waited 30 plus years to go to Italy, what are a couple more days! Waiting times are interesting. You’ve done all you can do about a situation and the rest is out of your hands. There's a saying, "Do your best, commit the rest." And so I have! I’ve committed a particular situation to God (as have some faithful prayer warrior friends). I trust the outcome will be what’s best whether I like it or not. Honestly though, since really letting go, I’m no longer anxious about it. I have peace now and if it turns out in my favor, I think I’ll be even more pleasantly surprised.
